“Mastery is a product of consistently going beyond your limits”

“Strength training becomes even more important as we get older. As we age, our metabolism tends to slow down. There is also a loss of muscle mass and bone density.

The good news is we can help reduce this decline by adding resistance training to our workouts.

Benefits of strength training include:

- Day to day activities become easier

- Decreased chance of injury - stronger muscles will help protect joints

-  Improved balance,  co-ordination and mobility

The sessions will be centred primarily around the bigger 'compound' movements - squats, deadlifts, bench press and overhead pressing. These will be complemented with a variety of single leg/arm, pushing, pulling and 'core' exercises as well as plenty of mobility work.

These sessions are every Friday at 10:30am
